Celebrate the First 150 Years of Welcome, Hope and Healing |
Trinity's ten-month anniversary celebration was launched Sunday, September 13, at the 10:00 a.m. Eucharist. September 12, 1859, marks our beginning, when twelve families first petitioned the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut for status as a new congregation to serve the Asylum Hill neighborhood. Events scheduled throughout the year will culminate in June 2010 with a visit from the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, The Most Rev. Katharine Jefferts Schori, when we celebrate the anniversary of our official acceptance as a parish in the Diocese.
Join us for these events and many more! |

Happening This Weekend at Trinity
1. Come worship with us this Sunday under a Bedouin Tent! In preparation for the celebration for retiring Bishop Drew Smith Sunday afternoon, the Nave of Trinity Church has been transformed into an intimate Bedouin tent. To accommodate this, our altar has been moved into the Nave, and the choir will be seated behind the altar. It will be different, but God will surely be there, and I know we'll be inspired by Mother...
